From the grass to the ice: kicker and license partner Reswitch cooperate with Penny DEL and DEL2

Main clubs of the PENNY DEL and DEL2 optimize talent development with RESWITCH

The next step for Reswitch, licensor kicker, and Olympia-Verlag – effective immediately, the youth teams of all first and second division clubs will be equipped with the training vests designed for quick action. The training method, already proven in football, is now making its way from the pitch to the ice. For the kicker team, this is another milestone in the licensing partnership and further collaborations that continually target young sports enthusiasts.

Focus on cognitive talent development: DEL and DEL2 parent clubs receive
Reswitch sets free of charge

The youth departments of clubs in Germany's first and second ice hockey leagues will now also be using the Reswitch bibs. Ulrich Liebsch, youth coordinator of the PENNY DEL, knows how important cognitive performance can be in a sport as fast-paced as ice hockey: "The role of such innovative training methods in ice hockey is extremely important. Such aids are a major step forward, especially with regard to introducing talented players to professional sports and also for youth development at a grassroots level."

Tammo Neubauer, founder of Reswitch and formerly working for the DFB and FC Bayern, sees the growing recognition of his training method beyond ball sports:
"The topics of scanning, quick action, and game intelligence are becoming increasingly present and relevant in all sports. Our training method is already used by thousands of coaches in soccer and basketball. With our move onto the ice, we will continue to optimize our product in this area as well, improving it for youth development and providing tailored training opportunities."

kicker and Reswitch push licensing partnership beyond football
The licensing partnership between Olympia-Verlag and Reswitch has existed since 2022. For Chief Sales Manager André Kolb, the move into the youth divisions is also a further confirmation: "We were convinced by Reswitch from the very beginning, and the fact that this success story can now be continued in ice hockey makes us proud. Whether it's collaborations with Delius Klasing, AMSport, or our kicker Kids products and formats – we want to ignite enthusiasm for the sport among children and talented players through our licensing collaborations with our partners . Promoting young talent is also an important topic for us at kicker and at Olympia-Verlag in general, in keeping with our sporting DNA."
